Sara is a Freshman at West Columbia High School. She participates in the Columbia Lakes junior program on Mondays. She's had a good tennis year. Sara participated on the state runner up team from Houston in the Gran Prix State Team Tennis Championships in August, at New Braunfels, winning 5 out of 6 matches.
Just this past weekend Sara did well in the USTA ZAT tournament held in Beaumont. ZAT's are the entry level tournaments for players working on a state ranking in their age group. Sara is getting close to qualifying for the next tier of junior competition in her age group: 'Championship Level'.
Sara is a hard worker. She takes her tennis seriously. And she has great support from her mom and dad. That is a good recipe for success...!
