Here's a photo of 'Coach Monica' and Melinda Mcnicoll at the tennis lesson baby shower a few weeks ago..! Monica is enjoying a delicious sno-cone prepared by Jennifer 'sno-wiz' Mcnicoll.

It was such a sweet morning... Thanks again to everyone who participated. (Thanks especially to Melinda for organizing it...) Monica and I were deeply moved to be honored in such a way...!

Well, today is the day...! We are heading to the hospital in a few minutes. The doctor has planned to induce labor starting at 5:30 AM.



The next time I make a photo post it will be of the newest, youngest tennis player in our home school community...

Tennis Team Baby Shower

A couple of Fridays ago Monica and I were blessed with a baby shower given by my Friday morning tennis classes. It was such a touching gesture... I was moved to tears several times that morning. Here are a few photos taken of that morning. Thanks to all who attended. And thanks for everyone's prayers and support. Most of all... There are no more Saturday workouts scheduled at Columbia Lakes until August...!

Seth Meyers Prepares for a Return of Serve

Seth Meyers is the Captain of the Columbia Lakes Junior Team Tennis Team. He is a sophomore at West Columbia High School and is working hard on his game this summer.

Here's Ashleigh Calcote at the Columbia Lakes Memorial Day Singles Tournament. Ashleigh is a participant in Coach Sam's home school programs in the Clear Lake area. 

Jake Davidson is an up and coming future tennis star..! He just celebrated his 9th birthday and is competing in the boys 10's division in USTA and Gran Prix tournaments. Here he's posing with the Victory Trophy in Coach Sam's Memorial Day Tournament held in June. 

Connor didn't want his photo taken and is trying hide behind his racquet. He's really been working hard on his tennis game this summer and is improving steadily...!
